a food interlude

I have posted about a chicken pot pie about a year ago, but it took me that long to make another & I will tell you the positive reaction was well worth it.  In fact, I won't wait so long again.  (It was LOVED.  Nothing makes a novice cook feel better than tweens loving your cooking!)
This year, I used individual footed soup bowls which really adds to the personal pot pie purpose!



p.s. There were napkins.  We are just so well trained that they are in laps!
