Though I've yet to try it, last year Tom Colicchio began overseeing the new Topping Rose House hotel and restaurant in Bridgehampton, New York. Housed in an 1842 Greek Revival mansion, the 75-seat dining space opened in September to rave reviews.
This spring marks the inn's debut. The property holds the main dwelling and four nearby cottages totaling 22 rooms and includes a one-acre farm, a spa and a pool that looks out to a crab-apple orchard.
