sometimes more is more

I am deciding on my holiday decorations and as I look for inspiration, I was struck with Fabrizio Rollo's Sao Paulo apartment in Elle Decor.

I love the intense mix.  I often hear myself saying "edit, edit, edit.  Pare down."  This place gave me a little freedom to listen to the inner voice that wants to be surrounded by things that I love.  Even if that is a lot of things.

Greenwich Hotel

This is a great place to stay in New York.  It feels like a private residence and has warmth and sophistication.  I really loved the palette and the light fixtures.  The lighting is really subtle and beautiful.
