I have not posted for a while. Besides work, a blizzard, a trip to Arizona and
then a snowboard trip to VT has kept me away from the computer for any
long stretches of time.
Here are some pictures of the slow to come together studio.
I love this grey linen fabric, but I think I want a nubby cream colored fabric on these mid-century arm chairs. I like to keep it all neutral so I can have an plain backdrop that won't interfere with any new project that comes up.
I also took this Balinese day bed-bench thing from storage. The cushion is really beat up. I wrapped it with some textiles that I picked up in Peru, but then pulled out a favorite Ralph Lauren stripe that I think would be a weird juxtaposition. It might not work, but I'm just playing at the moment.

Stolen idea from fashion designer Vanessa Bruno's Paris loft.
My presentation board & table.
Part of the still-to-be-organized materials library.
It was getting a little dark when I took this. The overhead florescent lighting is atrocious.
Picked up these two chairs out of storage and they need to be reupholstered.
Trying to figure out what to put on them.

Maybe ticking is the way to go. That'll make it feel like a real mattress.
Hope to have more soon!
